…For a while there, Del Monte Center was playing a dangerous game of dice with its reputation for cool. Not anymore. While Macy’s still anchors the joint, new shops have cropped up like crazy since the opening of the Century Theater. There’s ice cream, shoes, denim, sporting goods, groceries, restaurants, coffee and anything else the stroll-aholic could dare dream of. It’s no wonder readers are flocking to the place in droves nowadays. There’s a little something for everyone and a movie when all is said and done.
