Asked at the Barnyard in Carmel.
Q: LARRY KING IS AFRAID TO SURF CYBERSPACE. WHAT IS THE SCARIEST THING ABOUT THE INTERNET?
Follow-up: What’s your favorite Web site?
WILLIAM BROOKE | Retail Associate |Pacific Grove
A: How easy it is to fool people into believing there is something there when there really isn’t. The amount of access people have to personal files is scary also. And it’s too easy to market things that are exploitative to people.
The Cyber Life: Bioneers.org. It’s all about sustainable living.
BRENNA WHEELIS |Manager | Carmel
A: There is so much information not accessible by the Internet. There’s this perceived access, but it’s not there. Google is the largest search engine, but it’s only able to access 10 percent of the stuff out there.
Cool for School: I’m a college student, so I guess the CSUMB library Web site.
CHUCK MOOSE | Landscape Maintenance | Marina
A: Not knowing how to find what I want to find. And I’m still leery about financial transactions.
Deep Pockets: eBay, because it’s so much fun.
