Asked at the Spirit Halloween Superstore in Monterey.

Q:  WHAT SCARES YOU THE MOST?

FOLLOW-UP: IF YOU COULD DRESS ANYONE UP FOR HALLOWEEN, WHO WOULD IT BE AND IN WHAT COSTUME?

CHRIS SNELL | Cashier | Pacific Grove

A: I’m afraid of people in general. The problem with people is you can never tell which ones are the dangerous ones because they can hide their evil so well.

Thundercats: I’d dress myself up as Jane from Tarzan. I’d wear a leopard skin dress.

JESSE CONDREN | Superstore Employee | Monterey

A: The fear of falling into a tank full of sharks. I saw Jaws when I was a kid and I’ve been scared of sharks ever since.

The Pacifier: I’d dress up my friend Tim in a baby costume.

REGGIE BERNALDO | Server | Pacific Grove

A: Old people scare me. They always come into the restaurant I work at and they always need lots of stuff and barely eat anything. They’re also really bad tippers.

Whole New World: I’d dress my friend Jules up as Aladdin because he’s always singing Aladdin songs.
