Sound description: A music legend and founding member of the Beach Boys, Al Jardine resides on the Monterey coast. The vocalist and guitarist sang lead on the Beach Boys’ classic “Help Me, Rhonda.” Though he left the group in 1998, Jardine got back together with Beach Boys mastermind Brian Wilson for a short tour in 2006 that celebrated the 40th anniversary of the band’s legendary Pet Sounds album. Jardine owns the Red Barn Studios, where artists including Roy Hargrove and Ramblin’ Jack Elliott have recorded material.
