Sound description: With their concoction of country, swing and jazz Cow Bop has become a popular fixture in Big Sur and Carmel Valley playing Fernwood, the River Inn and Rippling River regularly. Led by famed local jazz guitarist Bruce Forman, the band has undergone two Route 66 Challenges, which entails traveling the length of the legendary highway with only $100 in their pocket and not one scheduled gig. The money went to the JazzMasters, a local non-profit that teaches children how to perform jazz music.
