Sound description: In the summer of 2007, Maria Kostelas relocated to Monterey with her collection of over 100 world flutes. Before the move, Kostelas sometimes taught flute workshops as a guest artist for the Los Angeles Philharmonic Education Association. Actress and New Age icon Shirley MacLaine has said Kostelas has "such passion and the passion comes through the flutes."
