Sound description: At 45 years old, Monterey County native Rose Merrill decided to go full speed after her dream of becoming a musician. Her debut CD, Driving Home, finds the Cachagua based singer/songwriter candidly addressing a midlife crisis ("Middle of Life") and the appearance of a new love in her life ("Driving Home.") One of the best songs is "Sea of Cortez," an easy going acoustic number about escaping from it all.
