And he’s got a way with a guitar that would make BB King tap his foot and holler. His rhythm section can do snappy, they can do strong, they can do melodic. His song “Stormy Monday” mixes the heavenly with the earthly (“Lord have mercy/ Lord have mercy on me/ I can’t find my baby and I’m in misery”) set to an up-tempo blues stomp.
