JBT and his band has that Muscle Shoals/T-Bone musical and meaty blues sound. He has a U.S. band line-up as well as a European band line-up, for which he tours extensively in Poland at places like Jazz Pod Piatka. Whatever line-up, though, and whichever venue, JBT brings that gutbucket blues throwdown, with musicians that can wrap their Hammond B3s, drums and guitars around his passionate singing like a tailored suit. After extensive touring in Poland, they touch down at Sly McFly’s tonight and Saturday. [WR]
