Two women artists--photographer Tracie Heller and wax collage artist Sarah Grew--join forces in a show that re-examines the natural and unnatural environment around us. Grew uses twigs, leaves, insects and seed pods as models in her wax assemblages, calling them "Little Jewels and Small Worries," and presenting them as reminders or touchstones to the beauty of nature. Heller trains her camera lens on ordinary objects like paper, smoke and glass jars, illuminating them to the point that they transcend their usual roles as everyday items and become a thing of reflection and meditation.
