John Muir Lecture at Carl Cherry Center for the Arts

It's probably no coincidence that Earth Day falls one day after the birthday of the enigmatic conservationist, writer, geologist, environmentalist, explorer and founder of the Sierra Club, John Muir. To honor him, Dr. Barbara Mossberg gives a lecture and Monterey Bay writers read from his writings, in addition to excerpts from their own works on nature.
2pm. Carl Cherry Center for the Arts, Guadalupe and Fourth, Carmel. $10. 624-7491.
