A performer at the 2008 Monterey Bay Blues Festival and winner of that festival's 2003 Artist of the Year award, blues harp player Charlie Musselwhite returns to the Fairgrounds to open the 72nd annual Monterey County Fair. Musselwhite is known for his classic 1966 album Stand Back! and 2000's Continental Drifter, which creatively mixed blues and Tex Mex music. [ST]
