One might be tempted to think of parody musician "Weird Al" Yankovic as strictly a studio artist. But as an October visit to Monterey's Golden State Theatre showed, the man behind hits like "Eat It" and "White & Nerdy" is an inspired performer. Not only did his show rock—it included cannons firing confetti at the audience at one point and even a barrage of Zeppelin riffs in the middle of his take on R. Kelly's "Trapped in the Closet"—but Yankovic also had hilarious video clips of fake interviews with performers including Eminem playing between songs. [ST]
