The Carmel Art Association holds its annual summer barbecue celebration in the gallery's sculpture garden. CAA artists are barbecuing and serving tri-tip sandwiches and hot dogs; salads, beverages and birthday cake will also be served in honor of the CAA's 81st anniversary. New this year is a silent auction consisting of a wide selection of artwork donated by CAA artist members in the gallery's Segal Room. Plus, the annual "A Brush with Fate" sale of used and new items from local artists' studios is taking place in the gallery. The barbecue starts at noon and goes until 2pm or until the food is gone. Tickets may be purchased the day of the event.
