To capture a sense of the positive vibes that emanate from the Monterey Bay ReggaeFest, compare some of the names of this year's lineup to, say, OzzFest: Eject the Dead vs. Soul Majestic, Devil Driver vs. Stevie Culture, Goatwhore vs. Jah Sun. Headlining ReggaeFest, from Friday to Sunday, are Ky-Mani Marley, Tosh Meets Marley and Kevens, backed up by more than 40 performers.
