Monterey and Pacific Grove Libraries announce that overdue book fines can be paid off with un-opened, non-perishable foods. All donations go to the Food Bank of Monterey County where a great need comes during this time of year for the holidays. Pay off all your library material fines and give back to the community at the same time. Continues through Jan. 3.
