Today's meeting, open to everyone, focuses on nonprofits established in the community of Marina. Representatives of Sun Street's Pueblo del Mar, a transitional living program for families moving towards self-sufficiency; INTERIM INC's MCHOME, an outreach program for homeless mentally ill individuals; the Veterans' Transition Center, which provides veterans with transitional housing, emergency services and case management programs; and the Thomas Carman Food Pantry, a member of the Food Bank of Monterey County, provide an overview of their activities and programs. Bring canned goods to donate to the Food Bank if you can.
