The city of Seaside hosts winter events galore for youngsters, beginning with an 8-week program sponsored by the peppy Cheerleader University for children 5 and older, joined by Little Gourmet Chef Kids in the Kitchen, an easy-to-follow, healthy cooking class for children 7 to 12. A self-defense and awareness class for children 5 to 15 teaches valuable physical lessons and self-esteem. Youth tumbling turns P.E. into an excercise in fun. Call for days and fees and to register.
