As a gift to the community, both the Pacific Street and La Mirada branches of the Monterey Museum of Art are free to the public for the entire month of December. It’s an ideal time to check out their stellar lineup of art, including the Miniatures show of tiny paintings, drawings, photos and sculpture (they’re up for raffle for just $5 a ticket) Cunningham, Weston & Adams: Modern Photography at the Museum, which is pretty self explanatory; the spotlighted drawings of Monterey NOW: Susan Manchester; and the provocative and sublime photos of Angela Strassheim.
