TYT, or Yesterday Today Tomorrow, is back with an additional vocalist, "Deja B" Bryson. She's steeped in R&B and hip-hop, a potent mix all over the radio these days, which she joins to lead vocalist Lisa Rodriquez, who sang Latin and rock in Cuatro Cero Ocho (espanol for 408, after their San Jose home base). Rodriquez names the late Cuban chantuese Celia Cruz, as well as Gwen Stefani and Jill Scott as influences. Prince "BlkMagic" Damons has a formidable arsenal of musical skills, including producing (his music's been featured on the Tyra Banks TV show), songwriting, and proficiency with 12 instruments. This revamped line-up should add zest to an already popular dance band.
9pm. Sly McFly's, 700-A Cannery Row, Monterey. 372-3225. http://www.slymcflys.com.
