This is Valentines Day, the unrated version. This is the third-date-wanna-come-in-for-a-drink? This is the grown-up movie. This is the stuff that scares squares. This is a potentially potent handful of erotic art, music, dancing and co-mingling. Erotic art fills the Planet Ultra Lounge, captivating the crowd while the sensory stimuli begins. Eddie Guitierez and Friends kick off the aural pleasures with an acoustic set. Then the sinewy bellydancing of Jamaica and "her girls" commands the room. Troy Oshan and Seattle's Honey Hush step up to spike the night's soundtrack with fuzzed up blues/rock/soul. (One lyric: "Now I taste that salt in your skin." Yep. They're the right band for this gig.) The Sambahemians drummers and dancers raise the temperature, then the fire dancing of Big Sur's Fire Within ignites the spot. If attendees aren't too spent, everyone is encouraged to vote on the best art. If artists aren't too shy, erotic work can be submitted for showing. [WR]
