The first year of the Arts and Architecture event at the architecturally idyllic Monterey Museum of Art La Mirada honors the late Edward Durell Stone, one of the iconic architects of the 20th century. After a wine and hors d'oeuvres reception, Edward's son Benjamin Hicks Stone III, also an architect, presents a slide show and talk on his fathers work like the New York Museum of Modern Art, the JFK Center for the Performing Arts in DC, and, locally Seaside City Hall and CHOMP.
