The Steinbeck Center celebrates their namesake author with this Steinbeck birthday celebration. Activities, centered on children, include reading circles, Grapes of Wrath multimedia displays, art projects and a visit by the 2007 Teacher's Choice Award-winning children's author Cheryl Block. This free community day waives admission for Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz county residents encouraging locals to attend.
