Roberto Salas is an Indo-Hispanic educator, a cactus cultivator, a mariachi musician, a world traveler and a bullfight fan. Combine those interests with the fact that he's an internationally exhibited painter and the visual results, seen at PGAC as a part of Beneath the Mask of Cultural Identity, are predictably striking, ranging from the Hooded Catholic orders of Spain and Mexican wrestling costumes to the burned feet of Cuauhtemoc.
