Humorist Larry Wilde at Annual Friends of Pacific Grove Library Meeting

Larry Wilde knows funny, having rubbed punchlines with the likes of Johnny Carson, Woody Allen and George Burns over a decades-long career as an entertainer (publishing 53 books along the way). He lends a spark to the yearly summit of bibliophiles who look to keep the proud PG Library alive in the face of ominous budget cuts to come.
2pm. Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History, 165 Forest Ave., Free; please invite a friend. 236-8177.
