It's been three years since Monterey County country outfit 8 Second Ride has performed in a local club. But, tonight, thanks to Sly McFly's monthly country series, the band led by vocalist Candie Cobb-Sorensen is hopping back in the saddle. For those who have never experienced the group, expect lots of songs by classic country acts including George Jones and Tammy Wynette along with party favorites by Rick James and Van Morrison. [ST]
