Dance all weekend to West Coast Swing with up to 900 folks from all over the U.S., Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. DJs David Koppelman, Mike Pyle, Rupert Schroeder and Jack Smith spin a mix of R&B, blues and contemporary music for dancers to swing a partner to. Workshops are given by nationally- and internationally-renowned dance champs, including Jordan Frisbee and Tatiana Mollmann. Instructors, judges and staff are in the new movie, Love and Dance, to be released this spring. Eighteen workshops are included in admission. Free beginner workshops by local instructor Pat Eodice, held 9-11am on Friday and Saturday, are open to the public. Dozens of contests welcome participants to put on their happy feet, whether paired up or single. Wear suede or leather sole shoes. [SL]
