The Monterey Public Library encourages poetic souls to make with the verses. Monterey County high school students have until March 15 to whip up some inspired poetry for 2008's Awards and Anthology. Workshops are offered for those seeking to revive their rusty skills, or for those who simply wish to add some polish. Call or visit the website for rules and regulations.
