Family legend suggests that Natalie Dean Napoleon is, in fact, related to the emperor of yore who conquered Europe so many years ago dominating the countryside of Austria and Italy alike. Well, this Napoleon is no less ambitious. Invading the genres of indie rock, Americana and alt-country, her vocal-based music grinds with an eerie melodic and melancholy quality.
