The Forest Theater Guild presents Evita, the musical that follows the dynamic and turbulent life of Eva Peron, wife of Argentinian president Juan Peron. Director Laura Akard explores the nature of the nuanced queen of Casa Rosada, resurrecting the drama and paradoxical feminism that defined her along the way. Historians may not agree on the true legacy of Eva Peron, but the theater world is unanimous on the highly entertaining nature of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Tony award-winning musical.
