Local bands take the stage at Jose's. Superlucky Elephant was named after a herd of all-male Elephants, an anomaly of nature who were "superlucky" enough to survive. The band continues to hold its own in the elephant tradition on local stages. Christina Bailey and Her Big American Family are, luckily, big enough to rival the towering presence of the previous elephants. A combination of four family members and one family friend, the band uses a diversity of sound and instrument to create a melodic indie sound.
