It's full steam ahead with the Big Sur International Short Film Festival, with stops in Singapore, the U.S., France and Spain. Sifted from a pool of 1,200 entrants from over 40 countries, one of tonight's films takes place at a convenience, another at a gas station---both of them open 24 hours. The piece from the U.S. drops us in the Bible Belt, while the Spanish one is set on a moving train. Get onboard for this journey by projector under the starlight. [WR].
