The Music Department of Hartnell College presents a summer concert series including classical music, choral revelries, and a jazz tribute to spring. The Hartnell College Community Orchestra kicks off the series with Tchaikovsky's No. 5 in E Minor led by Dr. Carl Christensen on May 29th. The following Monday, the Choir and Chamber Singers showcase Broadway tunes, American standards and spirituals. Rounding out the season on Tuesday, the Jazz ensemble performs "Spring Jazz," a show featuring traditional jazz, blues, pop, and rock.
