Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District continues its summer offerings of outdoorsy educational fun for the whole family. This weekend features three events certain to entertain and inspire curiosity. Kicking it all off is Critter- Songs, Stories, and More, which promises to teach children how to tell stories about nature (10:30-11:30am/Sat, PG Museum of Natural History). Snap Shots to Paradise teaches participants the ins and outs of photographing landscapes, seascapes, and national landmarks (3-7pm/Sat, Mill Creek Redwood Preserve). Let's Tell Stories instructs children in Native American traditions, including creative dramatics and crafts (2-3pm/Sun, Laguna Grande Park). All events require pre-registration. Register by calling or online.
