The Monterey Peninsula College Foundation presents a series of lectures (spaced far apart) called Facing Up: Ethical Dilemmas of the 21st Century, which brings distinguished guest speakers to talk about ethics in journalism, politics, medical care, academia, finance and other fields. The series kicks off today with one the most consequential journalists of recent times, Carl Bernstein, who, along with Bob Woodward, unraveled the web of political intrigue that would eventually unravel President Nixon.
