Dr. Sharon Hays, the Barbra Streisand Professor in Contemporary Gender Studies at the University of Southern California and the author of "Flat Broke with Children: Women in the Age of Welfare Reform," talks about women and welfare. Her subjects tell stories of poverty, broken families, sexual abuse, homelessness and the lengths to which they go to juggle part-time, low-paying jobs to feed their children. Reservations requested.
