Underwater photographer Bryant Austin has embarked on an ambitious visual project, photographing endagered whales and printing them to life-size scale. The big idea behind these big photos is to bring attention, empathy and action to conservations efforts of these majestic giants. He talks about his work at Monterey Museum of Art, La Mirada, as part of his Into the Deep exhibit, with images, videos and audio of whales to immerse attendees in the world of the whale.
