About 350 practitioners and admirers of Ikebana, the delicate art of Japanese flower arranging, converge for a sort of group show/convention. The 600-year-old practice uses specific parameters to create stylized works of beauty, much like the haiku. Previews exhibitions are shown Sun-Mon; 100 members of Ikebana International show their stuff Tue-Thu; Masters of the art from three different schools present their work on Thursday.
