This annual festival features readings by the student winners of the Poetic Voices intercollegiate poetry competition. This competition, now in its ninth year, is open to college students in Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito counties and the winner receives a writing award and cash prize. Donations from this event benefit the Crisis Counseling Center at Hartnell.
