Stuffed with screeching lazer-swift Rolex Series sportscars, the Laguna racetrack can look a little crowded. But those tight quarters can appear roomy compared to the social schedule a serious race fan could assemble over the course of the weekend. One potential script: fan party at the Mucky Duck Friday; autograph sessions, ice cream social, practice rounds and two races Saturday; and a sequence of serious showdowns Sunday, featuring three back-to-back contests: the Atlantic Championship, the Formula BMW Americas and Historic IMSA.
