Monterey Symphony Concert Seven at Sherwood Hall

Max Bragado-Darman and the Monterey Symphony concludes their season with the world premier of Pacific Grove composer Robert Wayne Padgett's Fanfare for the Eagles, Debussy's Nocturnes sung by women of the Monterey Symphony Chorus, and Mahler's Symphony No. 1 in D major, "The Titan." Padgett's piece pays homage to the moon landing, which occured on his birthday. Saturday's performance is at Sherwood Hall, Sunday and Monday at Sunset Center. (See Music story.) [WR]
