Darren Carter, aka 'the Rooster,' storms Salinas armed with a white guy's perspective of growing up in a predominantly Latino community in Fresno, a place where his bright red hair earned him the affectionate nickname of 'Fireball.' Not one to take such comments to heart, he instead turns them into laughter, asking audience members to participate in the fun by completing his sentences: A woman is like a _____. I like my _____ like I like my _____. Carter believes that improvisation is the most difficult part of comedy, yet he seems to have little trouble finishing his routine regardless of how the audience fills in the blanks. His commentary on race relations and sexual politics may not gain him a Political Correctness award, but it certainly earns him a few guilty laughs along the way.
