Painter and educator Tory Raggett conducts a series of Thursday lectures at the Monterey Museum of Art that unlock the language of paintings, opening minds to a treasure trove of art. The remaining lectures--one a week until Nov. 6--explore color, places and story, using generous slide shows of works by Georgia O'Keefe, William Ritchell, Claude Monet and others, and viewing original paintings in the Museum. As a whole, these lectures should increase enjoyment and understanding of the elements of paintings.
