Vallejo comedian Sean Peabody has performed at comedy clubs in Sacramento, San Francisco and San Jose. He's makes his way further down south with this two-day Monterey gig. On Friday, he's followed by the R&B stylings of Jon B, who is one interesting cat. When he was 15, his group Def IV release the album Nice and Hard on Rap-A-Lot Records. He forged on, working with Babyface, Color Me Badd and Faith Evans, collaborating with Tupac ("Are U Still Down") and Nas, and selling platinum and gold. His career's been turbulent since those heady times, but he's still doin' it. His silky smoove sounds are pitched just right for the ladies.
