When Phish's gigs became more and more infrequent in the early '00s, the Colorado jam bands Leftover Salmon and The String Cheese Incident ascended to the top of the jam band scene. Great American Taxi is the newest jamming outfit led by Leftover Salmon frontman Vince Herman. Having already played great American roots music festivals including the Telluride Bluegrass Festival and the High Sierra Music Festival, Great American Taxi are traveling down to Big Sur to perform a free show tonight.
