In collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and the City of Carmel-by-the-Sea, the Carmel Art Association presents over 50 galleries, shops and restaurants open to the public and marked with a special purple banner for the city’s Carmel Crawl. Art galleries will perform visual demonstrations and restaurants will serve drinks, appetizers and desserts. The business friendly event has held its own on the entertainment side of the equation, as this is the fourth year of this growing event. Grab a map at any participating venue and begin “crawling” through the city’s assorted open houses on and off the beaten path. [SL]
