The Arts Council for Monterey County and the Compassionate Care Alliance team up for a long, broad schedule of artistic events that revolve around the issues of "illness, loss and grief." The inaugural event was the play Legacy; today features poets, musicians, artists and dancers of the Monterey Bay Women's Caucus for Art. Their artists' reception at the Unitarian Universalist Church gathers them all in one spot for an emotionally powerful evening. The art stays until Nov. 9. [WR]
