As part of their 19th annual Shake-speare Festival, in concert with their production of Troilus and Cressida, PacRep stages The Comedy of Errors. The early Shakespeare farce celebrates the wickedly funny side of the bard who wrote so cleverly on the nature of life and love. In The Comedy of Errors a pair of long-lost twins meet by chance in a magical city, inciting a riot of mistaken identities and mixed-up lovers. Borrowing from the Roman comedies of Plautus, this is one of Shakespeare's shortest and most accessible plays. [EK]
