Yes, we can – or can we? Netizen pundit Matt Bai, a political writer for the New York Times Magazine, will be opining on “The Future of Politics: The 2008 Election (and Beyond)’’ at a CSUMB event where he will be tackling such burning questions as how new media is challenging traditional assumptions and redefining political journalism as we know it. (Are you listening, Arianna Huffington/Mayhill Flower?) Should be an interesting discussion on an important topic. Or maybe the students will just be out somewhere getting smashed.
