Upon visiting one would never think that the prestigious Post Ranch Inn was one of the first homesteads to be built on the rugged coastline south of Carmel. But local Monterey County resident Bill Post knows better…because he was there. The public is invited to an evening of slides coated in memories, stories dating back to 1937, and experiences about life in Big Sur shared by Bill. Attendees can learn about the ranch, hardships, culture, and construction of the Highway, all in one night. Take a look at Big Sur before and after through the eyes of the Post family.
